Last term we started by inviting a group of ākonga between the ages of 10 – 12 years to join us for a Tech Fun Day, this involved social skills, STEM, Mitch – Halberg Trust, making lunch and a science experiment.
Earlier this term we invited a group of secondary aged ākonga to participate in the ‘Tech Tycoons’. During this session, the students learnt new computer skills, drumming and social skills.
From this, three other student-led sessions are being run. This involves older ākonga supporting younger students to learn new iPad and computer skills.
