On Monday 17th June 2024 our school community gathered together to welcome our new BLENNZ Principal/Tumuaki Saul Taylor.

This pōwhiri was a significant event which involved the immediate Manurewa community, including our newest neighbours Te Pūtahi Māori o Manurewa. BLENNZ ākonga, staff from the network and members of our Board of Trustees came together to welcome Saul.

BLENNZ acknowledges Karen Stobbs, our outgoing Principal, for all her years of service and her integral part in the formation of BLENNZ. In the last few weeks of her principalship Karen worked to provide a well-structured hand-over. Karen was very moved and grateful for the wonderful memory book she was gifted by staff. Each team and department across the network had carefully crafted a special page for her to treasure.

Karen will be missed and remains connected to the wider BLENNZ whānau.
