Kia ora I am Fiona, one of the Regional Practice Leads at BLENNZ. My role involves working with the Visual Resource Centres to support practice across the regions. You will also see me in the Wellbeing, Induction and Assistive Technology spaces.

I started my journey working with ākonga who are blind, deafblind or have low vision in 1990 and remain incredibly passionate about creating equitable opportunities for every ākonga we work with at BLENNZ.

Being a lifelong learner is important to me, and I’m always looking for ways to grow as a leader. I’m passionate about fostering collaboration and inclusion, ensuring that the wellbeing of staff and ākonga shines throughout our organisation. I believe in creating spaces where everyone has the opportunity to thrive, and I enjoy inducting new team members as they step into their roles at BLENNZ.
